Docupile EDRMS provides an integration for Slack that connects your Slack workspace with the Docupile Electronic Document & Records Management System (EDRMS).

1. Upload files and attachments from Slack directly to EDRMS.
2. Organize and categorize documents based on selected Slack channels or user actions.
3. Maintain centralized access and retention of business documents.
4. Search and retrieve files imported from Slack through Docupile EDRMS.
5. View audit information for file uploads and sharing actions.

The Docupile integration for Slack allows users to securely exchange files between Slack and the Docupile Electronic Document & Records Management System (EDRMS).

From Slack to Docupile:

1. Connect your Slack workspace to Docupile.
2. Select files shared in Slack.
3. Import selected files into Docupile EDRMS for centralized storage and record management.

From Docupile to Slack:

1. Select a document stored in Docupile EDRMS.
2. Choose a Slack user or channel.
3. Share the file with an optional message directly in Slack.

Files are transferred only when explicitly selected by the user. The integration does not read message history or monitor conversations.

To install the integration for Slack:

1. Sign in to your Docupile account.
2. Click on the Upload button icon → Select the Slack option
3. Click Add to Slack.
4. Authorize the requested permissions to complete setup.
